A killer who stabbed a man to death on his doorstep has been branded vain after scrambling around for fake tan and make up in prison.
Jail insiders claim Stephanie Bowie was "mortified" by the police mugshot after she was arrested for murdering Darren Russell at his family home in Erskine. And they say her main concern once being remanded in custody was ensuring she looked her best behind bars, the Daily Record reports.
The 29-year-old was sentenced to 16 years last week after being found guilty to knifing Darren in the chest twice on new year's day 2021. She ditched the blade and altered her hairstyle in the wake of the killing, but she was traced soon after and charged.
