A 10-year-old girl critically hurt during the school shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas has been released from hospital after 66 days.
Mayah Nicole Zamora was discharged from University Health San Antonio on Friday, after arriving in a critical condition on May 24.
She was wounded when a gunman opened fire at Robb Elementary, killing 19 children and two teachers at the school, making it United States' deadliest classroom shooting in a decade.
As Ms Zamora finally made her way home, University Hospital hailed her as their "hero".
"Today was a happy day at University Hospital! Our final patient from the Uvalde shooting, 10-year-old Mayah Zamora, was discharged! She passed out roses and left in style," the hospital wrote on Twitter.
"She is our hero and we can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in the future!" they added.
The video shows the young girl handing out single stem roses to nurses and University Hospital staff members with a smile on her face.
A chant — "Mayah, Mayah" — echoes throughout the halls, alongside cheering and applause.
She then poses for photos alongside supporters and for the media, before entering a car with her family.
The young girl was the last remaining patient hospitalised as a result of the massacre.
A GoFundMe page had been set up in her name by her family in wake of the shooting, which raised $US106,625 ($152,579.51).
According to the page, she had received multiple surgeries during her time at University Hospital.
"Mayah has a very long road to recovery, and we’re going to be with her the entire way," the family wrote.
"This long road includes numerous surgeries Mayah had undergone, future surgeries she may require, future hospital and doctor’s visits, mental health/trauma treatment, amongst many other things."
This week, the US House of Representatives passed legislation to revive a ban on certain semi-automatic guns, the first vote of its kind in years.
