Rudraprayag: A large number of pilgrims and local devotees performed Jalabhishek and Dudhbhishek of Lord Kedarnath. On this occasion, special prayers and worship of Lord Kedarnath were also performed on the second Monday of Shravan month.
Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) President Ajendra Ajay said that till now more than nineteen and a half lakh pilgrims have visited Shri Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham, out of which a record eleven and a quarter lakh pilgrims have reached Shri Kedarnath Dham for darshan.
He appealed to the pilgrims to keep in mind the weather conditions and weather forecast during the journey so that the journey could be smooth and safe as the arrival of pilgrims continued despite the rain. (with Agency inputs)
