Uttar Pradesh: RPF constable saves passenger from falling off train in Jhansi

LUCKNOW: Once again an alert railway staff saved the life of a passenger who was about to fall off from a moving train in Jhansi.

The incident took place at Virangna Laxmi Bai railway station on Tuesday morning at 11:45 am, when Kanniyakumari bound Thirukkural superfast express was departing the station from platform number 3.

According to chief public relation officer of NCR Shivam Sharma, "Railway protection force constable Om Prakash was on duty at platform 2& 3, when he spotted a male passenger attempting to board the moving Thirukkural express. The passenger was about to fall off the train and slip-on to railway tracks, but Om Prakash dashed to save him."

"Since the passenger successfully made it into the train after Om Prakash’s effort, his identity could not be ascertained. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera of the platform," he added.
