PRAYAGRAJ: The Railway Protection Special Forces (RPF) has seized narcotics worth over Rs 87 lakhs in the first five months of the current year. This includes over 1,000 kgof Marijuana and 705 grams of Alprazolam.
As per the data released by the RPF, in terms of different operations carried out by them in the jurisdiction of North Central Railways (NCR) in first five months of 2022 and comparing same with the last year, RPF had seized narcotics worth over Rs 34 lakhs in last year and during the first five months of 2022, RPF has recovered narcotics worth Rs 87,20,460.
