Uttar Pradesh: Mukhtar Ansari's lawyer booked for abusing judges in Mau district

VARANASI: Sarailakhansi police of Mau district lodged an FIR against jailed mafia don Mukhtar Ansari's lawyer Daroga Singh for allegedly hurling abusive words on the judges fraternity and obstructing the process of government land measurement in Mau's Kinnupur area.

Circle officer Mau Sadar, Dhananjay Mishra, on Wednesday said: "On the complaint of revenue inspector Rajesh Kumar Singh, an FIR under sections 294, 504 and 353 of IPC has been lodged against Daroga Singh and other villagers and the matter is being investigated. Over 10 cases have already been lodged against Daroga Singh, who practices in the district court."
