LUCKNOW: The Rae Bareli police on Monday sent a 15-year-old girl to juvenile home after she confessed to have battered her mother to death and then pushed her off the roof in a bid to pass it off as suicide.
Police said the woman was thrown off the terrace of her house on May 10 under Sarauni police station. Rae Bareli SP Shlok Kumar said the matter was reported by the victim's husband. "The 15-year-old girl, who claimed to have witnessed the incident, told her father in the presence of police that her mother had slipped off the terrace," said Kumar.
