New Delhi: A man was arrested for allegedly killing his live-in partner in Surajpur area of Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Buddha Nagar, officials said on Wednesday.
Victims’s family files complaint
The victim's family filed a complaint at the Surajpur police station on Tuesday.

According to the complaint, the deceased identified as Anjali Singh, was mentally harassed by her live-in partner, Satish alias Santosh, which led her to the extreme step.
Deceased was BBA student
Anjali, a resident of Ballia, was pursuing BBA in Noida, while the accused worked at a company, the police said.
On December 2, the victim allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan in her house in Surajpur, the police added.
Police held accused
Satish, who had been absconding since the incident, was arrested from near the the Collectorate in Surajpur police station area.
