Lucknow: The Yogi Govt on Friday night withdrew its earlier order and again posted Kaushal Raj Sharma as District Magistrate of Varanasi replacing S.Rajalingam within 24 hours.
The UP Govt had transferred as many as 13 IAS officers including Kaushal Raj Sharma, who was shifted from Varanasi to Prayagraj as commissioner.
Sharma is a 2006 batch IAS officer.
Kaushalraj Sharma took charge as the 57th District Magistrate in Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's parliamentary constituency, in November 2019. During his tenure of three years, he did many significant and notable works. Sharma's contribution in the implementation of PM Svanidhi Yojana was profusely recognised.
