Uttar Pradesh: Jailed don and four time MLA Vijay Mishra awarded 15-year imprisonment in rape case

VARANASI: Bhadohi district's fast track court (MP-MLA) awarded 15 year imprisonment and fine of Rs one lakh to jailed mafia don and four time MLA Vijay Mishra in gang rape case.

Providing details of FTC’s(fast track court) judgement in this case to TOI, Bhadohi’s district government counsel (criminal) Dinesh Pandey said, “FTC’s (MP-MLA) judge Subodh Singh Mishra awarded 15 year imprisonment to Vijay Mishra and also slapped a penalty of Rs one lakh in a rape case lodged by a woman singer of Varanasi in 2020".
