PRAYAGRAJ: Praising Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for restoring law and order in the state, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda said on Wednesday that “around 5,000 people, which left Kairana during the Akhliesh regime, have returned to their houses in the Yogi government. He added, “Yogi-led BJP government has ensured the safety and security of women and as a result, our daughters, mothers and sisters are riding scooty freely on streets.”
He claimed that BJP is committed to overall development of the state. Targeting the Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav, Nadda said, “More than 200 riots had taken place during the Akhilesh government regime including in Muzaffarnagar while there has not been a single case of riot in the Yogi government’s five years”. Nadda was in Kunda on Wednesday to seek support for party candidates contesting from Kunda and Babaganj assembly segments of Pratapgarh district. He said, “Now, Akhilesh is talking about the development of the state without thinking that people of the state were well aware that development of a single ‘ghar’ (home), ‘pariwar’ (family) and relatives was done during his regime . Akhilesh could bring ‘vinash’ (destruction).” Accusing Akhilesh of shielding and supporting traitors and terrorists during his rule, Nadda said Akhilesh Yadav had not only cheated the people of the state, but also the country by supporting traitors.” He further asked people of Kunda and Babaganj whether they would prefer to choose Akhilesh as their chief minister? Nadda further alleged, “It was Samajwadi Party (SP) chief who had withdrawn cases against traitors and terrorists on the pretext of maintaining communal harmony, but the court reprimanded him that he had no right to withdraw cases. Later, the court gave judgements and sentenced the traitors.”
