Gyanvapi mosque: UP court grants extension of another week to ASI to submit survey report

ASI Gyanvapi Archaeological Survey of India Varanasi AiM HC

VARANASI: Granting time of one more week to Archaeological Survey of India, Varanasi district judge Ajay Krishna Vishvesha on Monday asked the agency to file report of scientific study and survey of Gyanvapi mosque on December 18.

This is seventh extension granted to ASI by district judge court to complete the survey of Gyanvapi mosque to ascertain whether its stands atop a Hindu temple.
