Uttar Pradesh cabinet approves hike in daily allowance from Rs 395 to Rs 500

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday decided to hike the daily duty allowance of over 34,000 Prantiya Rakshak Dal (PRD) volunteers by 26 percent, from Rs 395 to Rs 500, offering them major relief.

The proposal in this regard was passed during the cabinet meeting, which was chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Lok Bhavan on Tuesday.
