Uttar Pradesh: At 47.2, Banda continues to be hottest in countryside

LUCKNOW: As the severe heat wave continued unabated on Saturday, Uttar Pradesh's Banda remained the hottest place in the country for the second consecutive day with 47.2 degrees Celsius maximum temperature.

Other parts of the state - particularly Bundelkhand, parts of central and East UP and districts bordering Rajasthan - also continued to reel under the heat wave.
