Authorities in Utah are on the lookout for a man who has been targeting Trump and American flags in a Logan neighborhood. Security footage captured the suspect removing flags from four homes in five separate incidents between Nov. 7 and Nov. 11.
One resident, Krystal Uresk, expressed her dismay at the vandalism, stating, 'That's not how you should act as a person. This is other people's property.' Despite replacing her flags and installing security cameras, the vandal struck again, cutting down both her Trump and American flags.
Uresk's response to the repeated incidents was to defiantly replace her flags and add even more Trump and MAGA flags to her home. Other homeowners in the area also fell victim to the flag thief, with three more households reporting missing flags.
Cole Warner, one of the affected residents, shared his mixed feelings about the situation, acknowledging the insignificance of the flags in terms of cost but expressing discomfort at the invasion of privacy. Another resident had not only her flags stolen but also found her garage door spray-painted with profanities, including a reference to fascism.
According to Logan Police, the suspect is described as a six-foot-tall individual with long blond hair who wears a ski mask during the incidents. The perpetrator typically strikes after midnight, targeting homes in the neighborhood.
