The USMNT finish off their CONCACAF Nations League group stage campaign with a game against nearest challengers El Salvador. With two wins and a draw from the group they know that anything but a loss will secure their place in the finals of the competition in the summer.
Anthony Hudson, still standing in as interim manager, rounded off the away trips with a 7-1 victory over Grenada last week and in the process qualified his side for the Gold Cup too. Despite the uncertainty off the field this young side continue to impress on it.
Even without the presence of captain Tyler Adams, USA cruised past their Caribbean opponents thanks to an inspired Christian Pulisic performance. Adams' Leeds teammate Weston McKennie also got on the scoresheet, netting twice in the win.
