Usher has announced the postponement of additional shows on his Past Present Future tour due to a neck injury he sustained while rehearsing. The artist shared the news on his Instagram, explaining that he needs more time to heal before resuming performances. Initially canceling his opening night concert on Aug. 14, Usher revealed that he had hoped to recover in time for the show but has been advised by doctors to refrain from performing this week.
Usher expressed his gratitude to fans for their understanding and support, emphasizing his commitment to delivering a top-notch performance once he is fully healed. The rescheduled dates for his Atlanta shows are Dec. 9, Dec. 10, and Dec. 12, replacing the original dates in August.
This setback comes after a successful run for Usher, who headlined the 2024 Super Bowl and concluded a 100-show residency in Las Vegas in December 2023. His Past Present Future tour, spanning North America and Europe, is scheduled to continue until May 2025.
Despite the disappointment of the postponements, Usher reassured fans that they can expect a spectacular show once he returns to the stage. He emphasized his dedication to providing an unforgettable experience for his audience and promised to deliver 100% of his energy and talent during the rescheduled performances.
