USC is making the Big Ten proud.
The Trojans got a touchdown run from Woody Marks, a Mississippi State transfer, and sunk an SEC power, LSU, 27-20 in the Modelo Vegas Kickoff Classic on Sunday.
The score came with eight seconds left at Allegiant Stadium when it looked like Lincoln Riley might be content to try a game-winning field goal.
Fooled them Tigers. Marks, who scored the first touchdown for USC, ran it in from 13 yards and LSU coach Brian Kelly had another season-opening loss against a non-conference opponent.
