Bronny James still hasn’t committed to a collegiate program, and top prospect Isaiah Collier is taking full advantage his time at the McDonald’s All-American Game to recruit the most talked about high school player to USC.
Collier, a contender for the top spot in the SI99 for of the Class of 2023, recently committed to USC for next season and revealed at the McDonald’s All-American Games that he’s working on having James join him.
“He’s a great shooter,” Collier said, per Eric Bossi of 247Sports. “I feel like he’s one of the best all-around players in the country. So, he’s a great player and knows how to play the game, and he’s not going to overdo anything. … I’m looking forward to [playing with him], and I’m definitely trying to recruit him. I’m just telling him he can stay home, that’s all I’ve got say.”
Back in January, a report came out noting that James’s top three choices were Ohio State, USC and Oregon. He was originally expected to make his decision in late February or early March the end of his high school career.
The Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, Calif., was recently upgraded to a five-star recruit on by On3. His upcoming college commitment will be major news in the college basketball world.
