Coming off a blowout win over Slovenia, Steve Kerr’s Team USA will be back on the floor on Sunday afternoon for another FIBA World Cup tune-up game.
Before setting sail for the FIBA World Cup, Team USA has five showcase games on the calendar. Team USA has already played two showcase exhibition games, winning both contests. Next up is fellow powerhouse, Spain.
Spain is currently the No. 1 in FIBA’s latest world ranking from the 2023 qualifier window.
Including Spain on Sunday, Team USA will have three more showcase games before heading to the Philippines for their FIBA World Cup opener against New Zealand on Aug. 25.
