Sarah Bacon and Kassidy Cook made history by clinching the USA's first medal at the ongoing Olympic Games. The dynamic duo, known affectionately as 'Cook and Bacon,' have been friends since their junior days and their camaraderie shone through as they secured a silver medal in the women's 3m springboard event on Saturday.
Expressing her elation, Bacon shared, 'I'm so overwhelmed with emotions to be able to share this experience with one of my best friends in front of my entire family. To represent the Stars and Stripes and stand on that podium is just unreal.'
