USA beat Bosnia to secure second-ever World Cup knockout win

World Cup Bosnia United States Folarin Balogun

The United States secured their second-ever World Cup knockout round victory, defeating Bosnia -Herzegovina 2-0 in San Francisco.
Folarin Balogun opened the scoring for the U.S. just before halftime, following a dominant first-half performance.
Balogun was controversially shown a straight red card in the second half, leaving the U.S. with ten men.
Despite being a man down, Malik Tillman extended the lead with a free-kick goal, securing the win.
The victory advances the U.S. to the last 16, where they are set to play Belgium on July 6.
