The US women’s foil fencing team has achieved a historic milestone at the Paris Games by clinching the gold medal in the team competition. This victory marks the first time an American team, regardless of gender, has secured the top spot in this event.
Prior to their team success, individual members of the US women’s team had already made their mark by earning silver and gold medals earlier in the week.
