The US military launched airstrikes Sunday targeting Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, after an attack on an American base in Jordan killed two service members.

The airstrikes, which also reportedly wounded four and left one untraceable, further escalated tensions between the nations after Iran officially said the interim peace deal to end the Middle East war has collapsed. The US President Donald Trump had said earlier this month that the truce is over.
