US sides with Russia on Ukraine vote at UN; India abstains

New York: The US has sided with Russia on a UN General Assembly draft resolution, seeking de-escalation, an early cessation of hostilities and a peaceful resolution to the war in Ukraine. 

Meanwhile, India abstained from voting on the UN's Ukraine war resolutions.
