THE lead singer of My Chemical Romance has revealed he is seeking dual British/American citizenship as he devoted a song to his Scottish wife Lyn-Z.
Gerard Way wrapped up the band's UK Reunion tour with a sell-out show at Glasgow's Ovo Hydro on Monday night.
Thousands of fans from around Scotland flocked to the venue to the band's first Scottish performance since before their 2013 break-up.
The gig broke the Hydro's record for the most tickets sold for a single show at the arena, which can hold up to 14,300 people.

Before performing the song Summertime during the band's 21-song set, the American musician said it was about his Scottish “sweetheart”.
Talking to the audience while on stage, Gerard said: “Scotland is the first birthplace of my sweetheart, my life.
"We were really hoping for that dual citizenship so we can get a house near our friends.
“This is a song about the summer we re-met each other again. It’s called Summertime.”
Lyn-Z is a Scottish artist who was born in Dunoon and is known for being the bassist in the electronic rock band Mindless Self Indulgence.
The couple married in 2007 and reside in Los Angeles with their daughter Bandit.
