NEW YORK: India's Rohan Bopanna and Aussie Matthew Ebden, seeded sixth in the men's doubles of the US Open, are up against the all-Aussie pairing of Christopher O'Connell and Aleksandar Vukic in the first round.
The Indo-Aussie duo was placed in the top half of the draw. The other Indian in the fray is Yuki Bhambri.
Bhambri will pair up with Brazil's Marcelo Demoliner in the bottom half and will play the ninth seeds, the MonacoPolish combine of Hugo Nys and Jan Zlelinski in their first round encounter.
