US Open 2024 attendance tops one million for first time

NEW DELHI: The 2024 US Open set a new attendance record, with over one million fans visiting the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. This marked the highest attendance in the tournament's history.

American Taylor Fritz faced world No. 1 Jannik Sinner in the men's final on Sunday but was defeated. In the women's final on Saturday, Jessica Pegula, seeded sixth, lost to Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus, who is ranked second.
