These strikes, which took place on Thursday, successfully destroyed four explosive-loaded drone boats and seven mobile anti-ship cruise missile launchers. The U.S. military's Central Command stated that these targets posed an imminent threat to both American Navy ships and merchant vessels operating in the Red Sea.
Central Command further emphasized that these actions were essential in safeguarding freedom of navigation and ensuring the safety and security of international waters for U.S. Navy and merchant vessels. Despite these significant losses, the Houthis have not yet acknowledged them.
