US Mega Millions results: Winning numbers from Friday night’s draw

• Mega Millions players had the chance to win $70 million in Friday night’s draw, with a cash option of $31.5 million.
• The winning numbers for March 27 were 13, 27, 28, 41 and 62 with a Mega Ball of 16.
• Mega Millions tickets cost $5 per play and drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m. ET.
• Winners have two options when it comes to claiming their prize. They can choose the annuity option where the prize is paid out as one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments, with each payment being 5% bigger than the previous one.
• They may also choose the cash option, which is a one-time, lump-sum payment that is equal to all the cash in the Mega Millions jackpot prize pool, minus taxes.
