• The winning numbers for April 14 were 17, 21, 24, 57, 69 with a Mega Ball of 12.
• Mega Millions tickets cost $5 per play and drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m. ET.
• Winners have two options when it comes to claiming their prize. They can choose the annuity option where the prize is paid out as one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments, with each payment being 5 per cent bigger than the previous one.
