Cristiano Ronaldo returned to the Manchester United squad and got on the scoresheet as Manchester United beat Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League. The Old Trafford faithful were delighted to see the Portuguese forward finally get his goal late in the game after Diogo Dalot and Marcus Rashford had got on the score sheet.
Ronaldo had of course been left out of United's previous squad against Chelsea after refusing to come on in the team's clash with Tottenam the Wednesday before. Speaking about the goal, Ten Hag said: "Seeing Ronaldo get his goal was great. He created, the team created for him and we know he has the capability to finish. He needed a goal and now I'm confident there will be more goals."
