
US legislators have hit out at Sir Keir Starmer’s government after the arrest of three men, including the husband of a Labour MP, on suspicion of spying for Beijing.
US representative John Moolenaar, the House select committee on the Chinese Communist Party’s chairman, cited the decision to greenlight plans for a new London mega embassy and the collapse of a case against two alleged Chinese spies last year as having emboldened Beijing.
