US Law Enforcement Monitoring Middle East Violence For Threats

United Nations Security Council on threats to international peace and security

The FBI has stated that there are currently no specific or credible threats to the United States in connection to the ongoing violence in the Middle East. A senior federal law enforcement source emphasized that while the situation is being closely monitored, there is no imminent danger to the country.

Various US law enforcement agencies are actively keeping an eye on the escalating conflict involving attacks against Israel to prevent any potential threats to the homeland. The New York Police Department has been briefed by its counterterrorism team regarding the situation and has confirmed that there are no credible threats to New York City at this time.

Similarly, the Los Angeles Police Department has issued a statement indicating that they are closely monitoring the developments between Iran and Israel. While there are currently no credible threats to Los Angeles, the LAPD remains committed to ensuring the safety of houses of worship and other sensitive areas across all communities in the city.
