An American footballer has disgusted the world by using mayonnaise to flavour his coffee.
Will Levis, who plays quarterback for the Kentucky Wildcats, made people wretch when admitting to using the egg-based condiment to enhance the flavours of his hot drinks.
And to make it worse, he even posted a video of himself carrying out the horrendous act.
He says: "Will Levis, quarterback at the University of Kentucky, and I have been known to put mayonnaise in my coffee sometimes.”
The people around him can be heard groaning in disgust as squeezes the burger topper into his cup of joe.
As he stirs the two together, he brings the cup up in a "cheers" motion before knocking the rank liquid back.
From the looks of the comments section, Levis lost some fans thanks to his unholy brew.
One wrote: "The most unholy concoction I have EVER seen. I want to scream ffs.”
Another outraged ex-supporter said: "This is a crime against both humanity & the Coffee Gods.
“I think we’re gonna need an intervention for this young man.”
Others said "this is just sick" and hoped Levis's behaviour caused his Kentucky team to suffer a season of defeats.
However, some similar sickos egged him on.
One said: "If this is what it takes to drop 4 touchdowns on Louisville, I want him to do it.”
The video had been a long-time coming after Levis told a local radio channel how he came to start putting mayo in his drinks.
He said: “It's not something I had planned out, it’s just spur of the moment stuff.
“I was out at breakfast at Josie’s with my girlfriend and I think I looked over and I was wondering why there was mayonnaise at the table, kinda forgetting I put mayonnaise on my egg sandwiches sometimes.
“She said ‘maybe some people put it in their coffee’, jokingly, and I was like ‘maybe I should do that.’”
Two years ago, a US woman traumatised the British public after sullying the English cup of tea with her barbaric brewing methods.
The American, who lives in the UK, shared her method for making the beverage on TikTok, where it caused a global stir.
Michelle's version of tea doesn't use a tea bag or any milk, but there is plenty of sugar.
Gathering up all her ingredients, she said: "Hey guys so I get a lot of questions about hot tea, so today I wanted to show you what this American girl likes as hot tea.
"So I mix a lot of ingredients together, first is one cup of instant tea, two cups of Tang (orange powdered drink mix), Country Time Lemonade, one cup of sugar, another cup of sugar, a little bit of cinnamon, a little bit of cloves."
Michelle then mixes all of these ingredients together, before getting a mug and putting some water in it.
Instead of using a kettle, she heats the cup of water in the microwave before adding "a few teaspoons" of the bizarre tea mix to the water and giving it a good stir.
Her post was also shared on Twitter, by @onmy9thlife who said: "I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE HORRIFIED!!!"
Yorkshire Tea's Twitter account retweeted it and added their thoughts, writing: "*Watches video* *Closes tab* *Burns computer*."
A different user commented saying the recipe was a "crime scene" from start to finish.
