Minutes from the Federal Reserve’s September meeting show that most policymakers expect another interest-rate increase by the end of the year as the central bank continues to battle persistently high inflation, AFP reported.
The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) voted unanimously at the meeting to raise its benchmark rate by 25 basis points to a range of 3.75% to 4%.
