US fans celebrate World Cup last-16 spot

Fans celebrated outside the stadium in Santa Clara, California, after the United States secured a 2-0 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina to reach the World Cup last 16.

Folarin Balogun opened the scoring before being sent off in the second half, leaving the hosts to play with 10 men.

Malik Tillman doubled the lead with a free-kick in the 82nd minute to seal the win. Supporters praised the team's determination and the atmosphere inside the stadium, while some described Balogun's red card as controversial.

The United States will now face Belgium in the last 16 as they continue their home World Cup campaign.
