US Embassy In Kyiv Closed Due To Potential Air Attack

The US embassy in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv announced today that it will be closed following the receipt of specific information regarding a potential significant air attack on the same day. The embassy has taken precautionary measures to ensure the safety of its employees and US citizens in the region.

According to an advisory posted on the embassy’s website, employees have been instructed to shelter in place as a safety measure. Additionally, US citizens have been advised to be prepared to immediately seek shelter in the event of an air alert being announced.
