Nvidia says it hasn't been subpoenaed by the DoJ, but has been in touch with investigators: 'We are happy to answer any questions regulators may have about our business'

Nvidia Hopper GPU die.

Update: Nvidia has told Bloomberg that it has not been subpoenaed by the Department of Justice but has been in contact with the agency. According to Bloomberg, Nvidia has instead received a civil investigative demand (CID) regarding "Nvidia's acquisition of RunAI and aspects of its chip business". A CID is different to a subpoena and doesn't legally require compliance.

Nvidia told Bloomberg, "We have inquired with the US Department of Justice and have not been subpoenaed. Nonetheless, we are happy to answer any questions regulators may have about our business."
