US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has strongly condemned the recent Iranian missile attack against Israel, labeling it as 'totally unacceptable.' Blinken emphasized that the 'entire world should condemn it' in response to the attack.
According to Blinken, the missile attack involved approximately 200 ballistic missiles being launched. Initially, Israel had estimated that around 180 missiles were directed towards the country.
Despite the scale of the attack, Blinken noted that Israel was able to effectively defend itself and thwart the missile threat. He commended Israel for successfully repelling the assault.
Blinken made these remarks during a press briefing at the State Department, where he was scheduled to meet with the Indian external affairs minister to discuss various diplomatic matters.
