US-bound Delta flight forced to make an emergency landing in Portugal

Delta Portugal Delta Air Lines

A Delta Air Lines flight traveling from Barcelona to Boston was forced to make an emergency landing in Porto, Portugal , after the cabin filled with smoke.
The Airbus A330 was carrying 283 passengers and 13 crew members when it landed safely at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport.
Emergency responders treated eight passengers on the tarmac, and three others were transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
Delta Air Lines apologized for the travel disruption and assured that efforts are underway to get passengers to their final destination safely.
The emergency landing occurred weeks after another Delta flight dropped 27,000 feet due to a cabin pressurization issue.
