Funerals were held for two U.S. Army soldiers who lost their lives in a drone attack on an outpost in Jordan. The soldiers, 24-year-old Sgt. Kennedy Sanders and 23-year-old Sgt. Brianna Moffitt, were honored in separate services in their hometowns in Georgia. Staff Sergeant William Rivers, the third soldier killed in the attack, was laid to rest earlier in the week in Carrollton, Georgia.
The soldiers were posthumously promoted in rank following their tragic deaths. This gesture of recognition and remembrance acknowledges their dedication and sacrifice in service to their country.
