US Army Green Beret Explodes Tesla Cybertruck In Vegas

Tesla Cybertruck on display at Tesla store in California

The recent incident involving a US Army Green Beret who detonated a Tesla Cybertruck outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas has shed light on the struggles faced by the soldier, Matthew Alan Livelsberger. Livelsberger, who tragically took his own life shortly before the explosion, had a history of injuries related to his military service and had expressed feelings of depression to his ex-girlfriend.

According to reports, Livelsberger had been on leave from his base in Germany at the time of the blast, which was caused by a combination of fireworks, gas tanks, and camping fuel detonated by a device controlled by the driver. The FBI described the incident as a 'tragic case of suicide' involving a combat veteran who was grappling with PTSD and other issues.

Livelsberger's ex-girlfriend, Alicia Arritt, revealed that he had suffered concussions and back surgeries due to injuries sustained during his military service. Text messages provided by Arritt indicated that Livelsberger had spoken about his physical and emotional pain, including feelings of depression.

Despite his struggles, Livelsberger was described as having inner strength and a desire to support his teammates in the military. However, in the days leading up to his suicide, he had expressed political grievances and personal issues in letters recovered by investigators.

Arritt, who had dated Livelsberger on and off between 2018 and 2022, expressed regret that she was unaware of his intentions and felt guilty for not being able to intervene. She described Livelsberger as someone who wanted to help and protect his fellow soldiers.

The incident has raised awareness of the challenges faced by military personnel, particularly concerning mental health issues and the impact of combat-related injuries. It serves as a reminder of the importance of providing support and resources to those who have served in the armed forces.
