The US Navy would “immediately” begin a blockade to stop ships from entering or leaving the Strait of Hormuz, US President Donald Trump said on Sunday, after US-Iran peace talks in Pakistan ended without an agreement.

Writing in two posts on his social media platform Truth Social. Trump said he has “instructed our Navy to seek and interdict every vessel in international waters that has paid a toll to Iran."
