Irish holidaymakers headed to France for a getaway are being warned that protests continue to take place nationwide.
Riots have erupted all over France in the wake of the death of a 17-year-old during a traffic stop, beginning in Paris but quickly spreading to towns and cities across the country.
These riots have resulted in major disruption to travel with curfews even being imposed in some areas.

The government in France is aiming to avoid repeating the three weeks of rioting that erupted in 2005 following the deaths of two teenage boys hiding from police which set off a state emergency, RSVP reports.
So far in the five-day period of unrest around France, more than 2,000 arrests have been made.
In a statement, the Department of Foreign Affairs warned any Irish holidaymakers: "Since 27 June, public disturbances have taken place across France.
“Many have turned violent, and rioting has occurred. You should exercise caution, remain aware of your surroundings, and vacate any area where disturbances are taking place.
"The public transport network is currently disrupted, and a number of towns and cities have imposed curfews. You should monitor local media carefully and follow official advice."

Thankfully, popular tourist areas, such as the Louvre Art Museum and the Eiffel Tower as well as rural and coastal areas, have remained almost totally unaffected by the rioting.
However, it is not currently clear how long the protests will continue and what measures the government will take to curb them from growing or continuing. These protests come just weeks after a wave of protests against pension reform in the country.
