Bank of Ireland has confirmed a problem with its app and online services affecting thousands of customers.
Users have been hit by an unexpected disruption and are currently unable to access its mobile app and Banking 365 online services.
The issue, which arose earlier today, prompted an urgent statement from Bank of Ireland who say they are trying to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
The bank also issued an apology for any inconvenience.

The statement, published on Twitter at 12.37pm, reads: “We are aware some customers using our mobile app and 3650nline are currently experiencing difficulties. We are working to fix this issue as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
An exact timeframe for the resolution has not yet been determined.
The disruption sparked concern among dozens of Bank of Ireland customers who turned to social media seeking clarification and expressing their frustration.
Many customers reported being unable to access the bank's mobile app and the 365Online platform.
One person said: “Anyone having issues with logging into @bankofireland mobile app? Getting a message re problem with SSL Certificate.”
Another asked on Twitter: "What is happening with Bank of Ireland?”
A third claimed: "Cannot access #banking365 app or make online transactions."
Someone else said: "@bankofireland what's going on with the app and 365 online? Can't access either.."
Customers are advised to monitor official updates from the bank regarding the progress of the issue's resolution.
