Urgent vape warning as deadly 'flesh-rotting' drug discovered in e-cigarettes in UK

Health bosses have issued an urgent warning after vapes seized in the UK were reportedly found to contain a deadly, flesh-eating drug.

Xylazine, a powerful tranquiliser usually used by vets on large animals such as horses and cows, was discovered in e-cigarettes confiscated in Luton, Bedfordshire.

In the US, the drug has caused an epidemic because it can make the skin and muscle rot away if mixed with illegal drugs such as heroin and fentanyl.
