The UK Foreign Office has update its advice for anyone travelling to Turkey.
Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) issues advice to inform anyone travelling from Glasgow or the rest of the UK. The department advised on things such as health - including coronavirus - terrorism, safety and security, local laws and customs, entry requirements, natural disasters and money to help allow British nationals to make informed decisions about travelling abroad.
And there has been an update made on the advice when it comes to visiting areas of Turkey. Over 3.330 million British nationals holidayed or visited Turkey last year, with the vast majority of trips trouble free.

However, the FCDO has update their advice for anyone travelling from the UK to the Easter provinces of Turkey.
All but essential travel to the province of Hakkari is advised against, with those undertaking essential travel being advised to take extreme care, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Additionally, Mount Ararat, in Ağrı province, is a special military zone, with permission required from the Doğubayazıt Government Office for access as well as a fee payable to the local Government's Office.
Those planning to visit with a travel agent or tour group should confirm whether or not an individual permit is required.
The FCDO is urging people to take extra care if travelling to this area, with the office advising anyone planning to visit to keep up with local media, following the advice of the local authorities.
