Urgent search launched to trace missing Ayrshire woman who disappeared in early hours

An urgent search has been launched for a missing Scots woman who disappeared in the early hours of Friday morning. Concern is growing for the welfare of Lisa Haining.

The 50-year-old was last seen in the early hours in the Castle View area of Dundonald, South Ayrshire. Police are urging members of the public to keep an eye out for her and get in touch with any information.

She is described as being 5ft tall, of slim build, and has dyed blonde hair with dark roots. When Lisa was last seen she was wearing black leggings, an olive green shirt, a brown jacket and white trainers.

Lisa also has access to a white Renault Twingo with a 65 registration plate.

Inspector William Deans, Police Scotland, said: “Concerns are growing for Lisa’s welfare and I am asking anyone in the Ayrshire area who has seen her or knows where she might be to please get in touch.

“If you are out and about, please keep a lookout for her and contact us if you see her. If you can assist then call us on 101, quoting reference number 0588 of Friday, January 20.”
