Urgent search launched for missing Lanarkshire teens who police believe may be together

An urgent search has been launched for two missing teen girls from Lanarkshire who police believe may be together.

Niamh Quigley, 13, was last seen in the Motherwell Road area of Bellshill at roughly 6pm on Tuesday, March 14.

Caileigh Ogilvie, also 13, was last seen in the Laburnum Road area of Viewpark at about 6.15pm the same day.

Officers believe the schoolgirls may be in each other's company and are growing increasingly concerned for their welfare.

Niamh is described as 5ft 2in tall, with short brown hair and wearing a dark green zipper jacket and black leggings. Caileigh is 5ft 6in tall, with long brown hair and was last seen dressed in a black zipper hoodie, orange top and black leggings.

Anyone with information on Niamh's whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland by calling 101 and quoting incident number 3641 of March 14, 2023, or for Caileigh quoting incident number 3763 of March 14, 2023.
