Urgent search launched for missing 13-year-old girl who vanished two days ago

Police are searching for a missing 13-year-old girl who has not be seen since she disappeared in Birmingham, on Tuesday.

An urgent appeal has been launched by West Midlands Police for information about the teen called Batsheba from Stechford, reported BirminghamLive.

The teenager has now not been seen for nearly two days having disappeared on Tuesday morning and her family are concerned for her safety.

Batsheba is described as 4 feet 7 inches tall with very long black hair. She was last known to be wearing a black coat, a white tie and grey trousers.

Police have said that anyone who may have seen Batsheba, or if you have any information that could lead to locating her, they they should call 999 quoting the reference MPBE/592/22.

In a tweet issued shortly before 9pm on Wednesday evening, police said: "Can you help find Batsheba?

"The 13-year-old from Stechford, Birmingham hasn't been seen since yesterday morning (Tuesday) and her family are concerned and we want to make sure she's okay.

"She is 4ft 7in tall with very long black hair and was last seen wearing a black coat, white tie and grey trousers. If you've seen her or know where she is please call 999, quoting MPBE/592/22.

"If you have other information that may help, call 101. Thank you."
